Fairytale Monsters Of The Night

I’m not one to love the auto-tune and

Lover boy songs,

With always happy endings.

They make me sick.

Like the girls always wanting to be the princess.

 

Nothing adds up

To all the stupid things I’ve said.

But that’s what makes life beautiful,

The reality of trouble

And me being in the middle.

 

If I could change my name

It’d be to City Lights,

So everything would be all right.

And I’d always find my way home

On this dark, dark night.

 

But still, nothing adds up

And me being in the middle.

 

Every time I pass by

This storefront window,

Another ad tells me how to be.

And that’s not me,

So I plug in my headphones and listen.

This Is What Happens

when there’s humidity in the air.

Storms a comin’.

Tornados, Rain, Lightnin’ and Thunder, with a bit o Wind.

Who knows what, if anything will hit.

What I do know is,

my hair is a mess!

Feeling Free And Being Free Are Two Different Entities!

I encourage my fellow women to be mad as hell!

Please know that you are allowed to be mad as hell.

It’s okay to love and forgive, too, but just remember that it’s okay to be mad.

You’re allowed to have feelings!

Use them!

One is not “being the bigger person” by not getting upset.

Anger does not lead to hate, lead to the dark side.

Anger, historically, leads to change.

Change is what we need it a time like this.

Change to create change for the better.

Forgive when apologized to directly, and evidence of sincere change and growth is present, and you feel like it (not a damn second before).

Can’t forgive? Don’t. There are things that you can not forgive a person for, but you, in your strength and wisdom, will survive regardless.

We don’t need to forgive to heal, unless you believe it is a necessity to do so.

Of course, you can love too.

Loving is great.

You don’t have to decide between your anger and love.

You don’t have to choose.

Jam Of The Morning

I must admit,

I like it waking up early now.

On average my internal clock wakes me up at 6:45. I get to see the sunrise, the birds fly, and all those wonderful stuff.

Now for me to sleep in is 8 or 8:30am!
