plus we have presentations that day too.

The clock stopped working.

Does that mean time stops just for me?

Or do the hours keep passing by?

I just don’t know.

Yet, I’ll be the one to love this day the most.

To the Mississippi

And cast out all my hopes.

Knowing the river flows down stream

And I can chase them.

But at least time will always be with me,

Just stuck in the middle of the tick and the tok

I’ll just laugh and say,

“Was it late, or just early?”
